Frequently Asked Questions

View All FAQs
How does the bike auction work?

Submit an eligible bike listing through your Bike Central account. Bike Central reviews your request before the auction goes live.

Eligible verified bidders can place competing bids while the current highest bid is shown on the auction page. When the auction closes, you review the highest offer and decide whether to accept it.

How long does an auction last?

Bike Central confirms the auction duration when your request is approved and scheduled. The confirmed start, closing date and countdown appear on the auction page and in your account.

What are the fees?

Bike Central Auctions are currently free to use. There is no fee to submit your bike and no seller commission on a successful auction at this time. Any future charges will be clearly disclosed before you submit or confirm an auction.

What happens after I accept an offer?

The auction is marked successful and the winning bidder is notified. Bike Central then guides both parties through the payment and ownership-transfer process. Only accept when you are ready to proceed with the sale.

Who can bid on my bike?

Bidding is available only to eligible verified Bike Central users, including Verified Owners and approved Professional Sellers. The seller cannot bid on their own motorcycle.

Is my personal information shown to bidders?

No sensitive personal information is displayed publicly. Identification details, addresses, verification documents, private contact information and Singpass-related information are not shown to bidders.

Do I have to accept the highest bid?

No. Receiving the highest bid does not automatically mean you must sell your motorcycle. When the auction closes, you can review the offer and decide whether to accept it.

Can I cancel my auction?

You may request to withdraw an auction before it goes live, subject to its approval and scheduling status. Once bidding has started, contact Bike Central for assistance if there is a genuine reason the auction cannot continue.
